Meet the Trainers

Mandy Nutley
Mandy Nutley BSc (Hons) Dip CABT (COAPE) Certificate in Applied Animal Behaviour.
Mandy runs her business Diamond Dogs from her home near Basingstoke.
She is particularly interested in animal psychology and the special relationship between people and their animals. She has completed courses in animal behaviour and training at the University of Southampton and with the COAPE Association of Pet Behaviourists and Trainers. She has also undertaken additional courses in motivational and reward based dog training methods. She holds a teaching qualification and has studied human and animal psychology.
Mandy has worked as a trainer supporting a variety of local dog training classes. She now runs her own Puppy Foundation and older dog training classes in Kempshott and Oakley. She is also involved the 'Life Skills Programme' promoted by the national Blue Cross animal charity. This promotes training for rehomed dogs and their new owners, with trainers who teach using non-punitive methods.
Her areas of particular special interest are working with people and their animals on an individual basis, either through one to one training sessions or consultations for animal behaviour problems.
Mandy currently provides advice as an Animal Behaviour Consultant for a local veterinary practice as well as accepting referrals from other veterinary surgeries.
She is qualified to microchip dogs and cats and works in liaison with a local animal rescue charity to microchip animals that are being rehomed.

Alex Johnson
Alex Johnson BSc (hons) PGCE Adv. Cert. Canine Behaviour & Training (COAPE)
Alex was the founder member of the North Hampshire Dog Training and Behaviour Partnership. She is currently taking a break from running dog training classes.
